Waste management in the commerce sector is taught through training programs that focus on waste reduction, recycling systems, and responsible resource use. At the professional level, companies apply practices like waste audits, separation at source, and circular economy strategies. Best practices include staff education, partnerships with recycling organizations, and tracking waste data to continuously improve sustainability.

In Comercial Julián Mairal there are cardboard boxes from the products. There are also plastic and packaging from food.

At the company where I worked, paper, cardboard, plastics, and non-functional mobile phone parts were disposed of separately.

Commercial companies produce paper, plastic, and packaging waste.
They may also generate organic waste.
Some produce electronic or hazardous waste

In my job at Mango, waste such as cardboard boxes, plastic packaging, and labels is generated. We separate them into different containers to recycle properly. Cardboard goes into the paper container, plastic into the packaging container, and the rest into the appropriate bin.
