For all stakeholders in the commerce sector: how is waste management carried out at an educational and professional level? Can you tell us about best practices that you have experienced?

In my company, we folded the cardboard boxes and put them on a pallet to return them to the distribution company. We did the same with the fruit boxes and the plastic.🥵🥵

A lot of cardboard and plastic is generated, there was a giant container that throw  the cardboard and crushed it, there was also a machine that made the plastic and crushed it and for the pallets there was a container that the garbage truck picked up every day

1.  Cardboard & packaging plastics: separate, compact, and recycle.

2.  Defective textiles: donate or recycle into new fiber.

3.  Small plastics (tags, bags): collect selectively and reduce with sustainable suppliers.

At bonÀrea, different types of waste are generated during production and sales.

These include organic waste from food processing and packaging waste such as plastic and cardboard.

Wastewater from cleaning processes is also produced and must be properly treated.

In my company, at Alcampo, there were three large containers: one for cardboard, which was a cardboard compactor; another for plastic; and another for the rest of the waste.
