Energy efficiency, waste management, and the circular economy skills/emphasizing sustainable materials use or an eco-friendly approach in Execution Phase of a project makes professionals equipped with practica knowledge of how to apply these skills into a workplace setting. These practical skills will set apart those individuals who are entering into the profession versus those professionals that possess these same skill sets but through prior experience or education.

To support this perspective, the recent trend of all levels of society becoming more aware of the need for sustainable practices has reached a point where, by 2025, legal actions against companies implementing unsustainable practices will become commonplace. Those who will benefit include professionals who obtain the same level of formal training and/or experience as described above.
